Outotec in Oberursel/Frankfurt, Business line “Direct and Smelting reduction” is looking for "Product/Process Engineers –Direct Reduction Technology" (m/w).

Your responsibilities:
You are responsible for the process design, project and contract execution support and supervision of all direct reduction related activities within the business sector. This does include calculations of mass and heat balance, decision making on process routes/technological solutions, execution and/or supervision of engineering activities until the assistance in plant commissioning.

Our expectations:
You have a Master or Diploma Engineer degree (FH, TH or TU) in the field of process technology or chemical engineering or chemistry/metallurgy. It would be ideal if you have several years work experience in the field of direct reduction and / or metallurgical processes with an operating or engineering company.

The two open vacancies in our Direct and Smelting Reduction Business line require following experiences:
- Project execution in the field of process engineering and an additional focus on ilmenite treatment would be appreciated
- Project execution with the main focus on commissioning of industrial plants (international)

As a result of our international business we appreciate a high flexibility for longer termed tasks in international projects (commissioning). Necessary skills include excellent knowledge of common software such as MS Office (Word, Excel) and Lotus Notes. The knowledge in process simulation tools (e.g. ASPEN, HSC, etc) would be helpful/preferable.

Due to our international business focus you must be fluent in both spoken and written English. Further basic language skills in German or other language skills are desirable. We expect strong communication and teamwork skills.
